How to Merge Multiple (2+) PNG Files Together using Java

In a recent article, we demonstrated an API which can be used to combine two PNG files into a single file. In this article, we’ll demonstrate another iteration of our PNG Merge API that stacks up to 10 files into a single PNG array. This is a great way to consolidate photo files in your application and reduce file clutter. Below, we’ll walk through how to use this API, starting with SDK installation with Maven and ending with structuring the API call with Java code examples.

To begin SDK installation, let’s first add a reference to the repository in pom.xml:

Next, let’s add a reference to the dependency in pom.xml:

Only the first two input parameters are required — any number of PNG’s beyond that is completely optional. You will, however, need a Cloudmersive API key to authenticate use of the API.
