How to Convert RTF to HTML in C# .Net Framework

The whole process of file conversion is generally a pretty long and painful one. This mantra holds especially true when talking about the parsing of RTF documents and subsequent conversion into HTML. You wouldn’t believe the Amount of trouble that this requires unless you’ve given it a shot yourself. So, bearing all of that in mind, how about I show you a much easier method of dealing with this problem, one that will leave your afternoon plans intact?

First we are going to install our API client package using this command.

Install-Package Cloudmersive.APIClient.NET.DocumentAndDataConvert -Version 3.2.8

And following right after that, our function call:

using System;using System.Diagnostics;using Cloudmersive.APIClient.NET.DocumentAndDataConvert.Api;using Cloudmersive.APIClient.NET.DocumentAndDataConvert.Client;using Cloudmersive.APIClient.NET.DocumentAndDataConvert.Model;namespace Example{public class ConvertDocumentRtfToHtmlExample{public void main(){// Configure API key authorization: ApikeyConfiguration.Default.AddApiKey("Apikey", "YOUR_API_KEY");// Uncomment below to setup prefix (e.g. Bearer) for API key, if needed// Configuration.Default.AddApiKeyPrefix("Apikey", "Bearer");var apiInstance = new ConvertDocumentApi();var inputFile = new System.IO.Stream(); // System.IO.Stream | Input file to perform the operation on.try{// Convert Rich Text Format RTF to HTML Documentbyte[] result = apiInstance.ConvertDocumentRtfToHtml(inputFile);Debug.WriteLine(result);}catch (Exception e){Debug.Print("Exception when calling ConvertDocumentApi.ConvertDocumentRtfToHtml: " + e.Message );}}}}

Done! Talk about easy.
