How to convert Photoshop PSD to PNG in Python
Photoshop files contain a huge amount of detailed data, but can be unwieldy, difficult to open, and are generally not web-compatible. Today we will be looking at a very easy method to apply a Cloudmersive API to automate conversion between PSDs and the more compatible PNG format. More generally, this method can be used to convert to and from a wide variety of image formats, including BMP, GIF, JPG, and over 100 others. Let’s look at the implementation:
Start by installing the API Client.
pip install git+https://github.com/Cloudmersive/Cloudmersive.APIClient.Python.Convert.gitNext, call convert_image_image_format_convert and provide it with the starting format (format1: PSD), the end format (format2: PNG), and the desired file.
