How to Convert Multi-Page Images between Common Formats in Node.js

There are dozens of image formats out there, yet only a few get used regularly in websites and other everyday digital contexts.

Using the ready-to-run code provided below, we can easily convert between common image formats using a free API solution. We’ll just need a free-tier API key to authorize our request, and we can then load in our image file, set the input and output formats in our request (using three-letter extensions), and return the encoding for our new file.

To structure our API call, we can begin by installing the SDK. Let’s either run the following command:

npm install cloudmersive-convert-api-client --save

Or let’s add this snippet to our package.json instead:
