How to convert HTML to a Word DOCX Document in Javascript

Today’s goal, set up file format conversion between HTML and DOCX as quickly as possible. You’re about to save a whole lot of time.

To kick things off, we shall import the Cloudmersive API client. We can get this done by simply dropping this script tag between the head tags of our page.

<script src=""></script>

Next, just call our function, as you see in this snippet here:

var CloudmersiveConvertApiClient = require('cloudmersive-convert-api-client');var defaultClient = CloudmersiveConvertApiClient.ApiClient.instance;// Configure API key authorization: Apikeyvar Apikey = defaultClient.authentications['Apikey'];Apikey.apiKey = 'YOUR API KEY';// Uncomment the following line to set a prefix for the API key, e.g. "Token" (defaults to null)//Apikey.apiKeyPrefix = 'Token';var apiInstance = new CloudmersiveConvertApiClient.ConvertWebApi();var inputRequest = new CloudmersiveConvertApiClient.HtmlToOfficeRequest(); // HtmlToOfficeRequest | HTL input to convert to DOCXvar callback = function(error, data, response) {if (error) {console.error(error);} else {console.log('API called successfully. Returned data: ' + data);}};apiInstance.convertWebHtmlToDocx(inputRequest, callback);

Once you input your HTML string, the API will process it and send it back to you in DOCX form. So easy!
