How to convert HEIC to WEBP in Python

Just a few minutes from right now, your project will have the ability to convert between HEIC and WEBP, as well as over 100 other formats, to boot. How can we get this done so quickly? I’ve got a handy API up my sleeve.

But that’s really all there is to it! Enter your parameters and give it a test run. Easy. Besides the large number of different formats supported, you can also turn on automatic format detection by setting format1 to UNKNOWN. This is slightly slower, as the API will now need to determine the format for each file, but is a great option when working with uncertainties.
