How to convert an Adobe Illustrator EPS file to PNG in PHP

EPS files are great if you have Adobe Illustrator on hand, but what do you do in other situations? A quick conversion to a more manageable format like PNG is called for, so you can get on with your web display, printing, sharing, etc. Here we are going to show a method to accomplish this conversion using PHP.

Before we do anything else, we are going to run this command in Composer to install our API client.

Once that’s done with, calling our image conversion function is a breeze with this sample code here:
