How to convert a Rasterized PDF into a DOCX in Node.JS

Today we will be taking all the pain out of document conversion. What would normally be a somewhat unenviable task will itself be converted into an absolute breeze. Without any further ado, here’s how to turn rasterized PDFs into DOCXs using Node.JS.

Add this reference to your package.json to install the client.

"dependencies": {
"cloudmersive-convert-api-client": "^2.1.6"

With our access to the API client, we can continue by calling convertDocumentPdfToDocxRasterize, like so:

var CloudmersiveConvertApiClient = require('cloudmersive-convert-api-client');var defaultClient = CloudmersiveConvertApiClient.ApiClient.instance;// Configure API key authorization: Apikeyvar Apikey = defaultClient.authentications['Apikey'];Apikey.apiKey = 'YOUR API KEY';// Uncomment the following line to set a prefix for the API key, e.g. "Token" (defaults to null)//Apikey.apiKeyPrefix = 'Token';var apiInstance = new CloudmersiveConvertApiClient.ConvertDocumentApi();var inputFile = "/path/to/file"; // File | Input file to perform the operation on.var callback = function(error, data, response) {if (error) {console.error(error);} else {console.log('API called successfully. Returned data: ' + data);}};apiInstance.convertDocumentPdfToDocxRasterize(inputFile, callback);

All done. Now you can input all your rasterized PDFs and be done with it. Super easy!
