How to Check .DOCM Files for Threats in Node.js

Macro-enabled Word files — known as .DOCM files — are notoriously capable of carrying ransomware and other dangerous forms of malware.

Thankfully, using a free and easy-to-use API, we can rigorously verify .DOCM file contents and scan them for viruses and malware in a single web request.

We’ll use the complementary, ready-to-run Node.js code examples provided below to structure our API call.

Let’s begin by installing the client SDK via NPM install:
