How to Block JSON Insecure Deserialization Threats using Ruby

With so many unique file vulnerabilities present in today’s cyber threat landscape, it’s important to implement dynamic threat detection solutions whenever possible. The below API provides virus, malware, and hidden-content-threat protection in a single API request, detecting millions of known malicious signatures while simultaneously verifying myriad file contents. You can use this API’s custom policy features to identify and block Insecure Deserialization threats in JSON and other object serialization files by setting the “allowInsecureDeserialization” parameter to “false” in the Ruby code examples provided below.

restrict_file_types: 'restrict_file_types_example' # String | Specify a restricted set of file formats to allow as clean as a comma-separated list of file formats, such as .pdf,.docx,.png would allow only PDF, PNG and Word document files. All files must pass content verification against this list of file formats, if they do not, then the result will be returned as CleanResult=false. Set restrictFileTypes parameter to null or empty string to disable; default is disabled.
