Convert MP3 to AAC in Java

Once again, we are tackling audio file conversion using APIs; this time, however, we are focusing on using Java for the conversion. As the understood successor to the MP3 format, AAC is now used as the default for Apple devices and therefore has been inundated with widespread use. This API will allow you to convert any popular audio file format to AAC instantly.

To install with Maven, we will first add a reference to the repository in pom.xml:

<repositories>
<repository>
<id>jitpack.io</id>
<url>https://jitpack.io</url>
</repository>
</repositories>

Then, we can add a reference for our API client to the dependency in pom.xml:

<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.github.Cloudmersive</groupId>
<artifactId>Cloudmersive.APIClient.Java</artifactId>
<version>v3.54</version>
</dependency>
</dependencies>

Now, we can call our function, AudioConvertToAac:

// Import classes:
//import com.cloudmersive.client.invoker.ApiClient;
//import com.cloudmersive.client.invoker.ApiException;
//import com.cloudmersive.client.invoker.Configuration;
//import com.cloudmersive.client.invoker.auth.*;
//import com.cloudmersive.client.AudioApi;

And with that, you are now equipped to convert any audio file to AAC within your Java applications. You can retrieve your free API Key from the Cloudmersive website. This will give you access to 800 monthly calls across our library of APIs.

There’s an API for that. Cloudmersive is a leader in Highly Scalable Cloud APIs.
