Convert GIF to PNG in Node.JS

Convenience is what it’s all about when it comes to image format conversion. That’s why today we won’t be writing the complex code needed to convert between GIF and PNG formats. Instead of that unenviable fate, we are going to opt for a healthy dose of deus ex machina in the form of a helpful API to see us through our hour of need. We begin by installing the client for said API.

npm install cloudmersive-convert-api-client --save

Now we can use the convertImageImageFormatConvert function from that library to perform our conversion. It requires the starting and ending formats for our image, as well as the file itself, as its parameters.
